Rev Dr Vinay Samuel, Director of the Oxford Centre for Religion and Public Life, our guest speaker for the Urban Missional Business Forum 2016 will deliver a keynote address.  At the Dinner, we will spotlight the tremendous challenges facing the rapidly growing cities of Asia and how Christian churches and missions can help address the issues of urban poverty through Urban Missional Business.   Christian business leaders and the missions community can help with the transformation of the Asian urban landscape especially through sustainable business.  We praise God that He is Lord of the nations and can use us to seize the immense opportunities before us, especially in Asia. The Urban Missional Business Forum 2016is scheduled for 30 Sep-1 Oct 2016 and you are also welcome to participate with us. Click here to find out more about the Forum.

SCGM (formerly SCEM) was founded by Singapore pastors and leaders after an Asian leadership congress for the purpose of serving the local churches in Singapore in missions 36 years ago.  Registered in 1980, we have served in spearheading some strategic thrusts in missions, from facilitating the UPG adoption to organising national missions conferences (such as the World Heartbeat and GoForth national missions conferences), and inspired many Christians to serve in missions, both at home and abroad. You can read SCGM Annual Report 2015 and our updates on our website at

We thank you for your prayers and past support over the last 36 years.  It is our sincere hope that you and your church can partner and join us in serving God in missions by making a donation or hosting a table for 10 at the Dinner. The recommended table sponsorship are as follows: $ 3,000,  $ 5,000, and $10,000.  Individual seats are also available at$300 each. We are happy to report that the cost of the Dinner has been fully sponsored and all proceeds will be directly channeled to SCGM’s General Fund. We hope to raise $300,000 for our missions this year.

Feel free to email if you have an interest or enquiry. Please download the RESPONSE FORM for your sponsorship.

Pray for us as we pray for you and our partnership in missions.

1. Out of the 10 inspiring stories of missionaries sent from Singapore, which story do you like best? Why?
2. Do you agree that God has given children a sense of curiosity and a mind full of imagination? At play, they explore the world they live in. The school, the church and the home can provide wonderful opportunities for children to learn about different people and cultures in the wonderful world God has created.
3. How many types of occupations can you list from the 10 missionary stories? Have you started to think about what you would like to do when you grow up?
4. Can you match the missionaries with their occupations? Whether you are a medical doctor or a dental nurse, a pastor or a teacher, a business leader or a community worker, you can serve God in missions using your special interest, talent and training.
5. It is never too early to wonder about life. Many of the missionaries asked questions even when they were young. Some of them experienced bullying, disappointments, unhappiness and even family problems when they were young. They learnt about the purpose of their lives when they started talking to parents, pastors and teachers in church. Do you talk to your parents and teachers about your hopes and fears?
6. Do you realize that God can use your childhood interests, experiences and education to be a blessing to the people around you? Whether it is learning about science, geography, or enjoying the fishing at the beach or making music, it takes hard work to become good at what you like to do. So work hard, play hard and enjoy your childhood.
