Event Details
More than 1 in 4 people in Singapore are foreigners who are working or temporary resident in our island nation. What kinds of diaspora ministries are making their mark on the people of the nations found among us? What can we learn from them how to do diaspora missions? How can we catch a vision for mission on our doorstep?
Join our missions conversation with 2 pastors working among the disporas and see how the Singapore Church can be mobilised and inspired to partner God in His work even in our homeland.
SPEAKERS
Evandreas (Evan) Teguh is a pastor at GKY Singapore, an Indonesian diaspora church. He leads their English youth and digital ministry. Now a PR, he moved to Singapore 9 years ago from Pontianak, West Borneo, Indonesia. He is married to Silvia, a friend from his home church, and God has blessed them with a 9-month-old son named Kairos. He is passionate about combining creativity with the gospel to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Ratan Babu, originally from India, has been serving at the South Asian International Fellowship since March 2022, focusing on outreach to migrant workers from India and Bangladesh, with whom he serves in evangelism and discipleship through one-on-one sharing and cell group ministry. The church offers services in Hindi-Punjabi, Telugu, Bengali, Tamil, and English.
Pastor Ratan is married to Neelam and they have two children: Joseph, who is 7 years old, and Joanna, who is 4 years old.

Event Details
Singapore’s population is rapidly ageing, but many of us are living longer and healthier in what has been called the Third Age. Could this age group (60s and beyond) be hitherto an under-utilised group for mission – both as a field and a force in its own right? How can we both reach and release them into God’s purpose and mission?
Join our conversation in October and hear from two of our local senior missions leaders who believe that the Singapore churches are long overdue in mobilising the Third Agers for His kingdom work. Come heed God’s words in Joshua 13:1 – “Though you are well advanced in age, there is work to be done. Go to the land.”
