Event Details

Join us for the inaugural Church Multiplication Connection conference in January 2024. In partnership with Singapore Bible College and Asbury Theological Seminary (USA), this conference aims to bring together church-planters, scholars, students, practitioners and interested Christians to hear and discuss three church multiplication stories in various contexts within Thailand and Hong Kong.

We will also be launching the Asbury Global Hub for Southeast Asia, an initiative to help resource new church-planting efforts in the region.

GUEST PRESENTERS

Dwight Martin, President of eSTAR Foundation and the Association of Free Churches in Thailand (AFT)

As the son of the first Protestant missionaries in Nakorn Phanom province, Dwight grew up immersed in the culture and language of his adopted country. He enjoyed the benefits of having dual citizenship in Thailand and the US. He moved to Bangkok with his family at the age of three and lived there until he graduated from high school in 1974. He then moved to the United States, where he married Mary Kay and had two children. Dwight pursued a successful career in the computer field for many years, eventually starting his own software company. But in 2002, he heard a divine call from heaven that changed his life forever. God told him to sell his business, house, and everything else he had in the US and return to Thailand as a missionary.

Dwight obeyed and embarked on a new adventure of serving the Thai people with his skills and passion. When he arrived, he was welcomed by many Thai Christian leaders who remembered him and his family from his childhood. They recognised his expertise in the computer field and asked him to be the Research Coordinator of the Thai church, a role he still serves today.

In 2021, after the Association of Free Churches in Thailand (AFT) revival started, Dwight was chosen as the first President of this new church affiliation, a position that requires him to lead and oversee the growth and development of this emerging movement.

Dwight Martin’s story is one of courage, dedication, and love for God and His people. He is a living testimony of how God can use anyone who is willing to follow His voice and His plan.
